Tuesday Drop-in Class ~ Compassion - A Force For Positive Change
Compassion - A Force For Positive Change
with Sandra Lewis
Compassion is an extraordinary mind that breaks the illusion that we are at the center of the universe, opening our hearts to empathy, understanding, and connection with others. It protects us from anger, jealousy, and self-centered actions, and motivates us to follow the spiritual path for the benefit of everyone.
In this series, you’ll learn how to meditate on compassion and discover the “five forces” taught by Buddha that strengthen it. With practice, we can expand our compassion until we develop universal compassion—the heartfelt wish to protect all living beings from suffering. When paired with wisdom, this compassion gives us great skill to help others in daily life.
Classes are held in the peaceful, spacious, quiet, and comfortable meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada.

Tuesday Drop-in Class ~ Compassion - A Force For Positive Change
Compassion - A Force For Positive Change
with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Chodor
Compassion is an extraordinary mind that breaks the illusion that we are at the center of the universe, opening our hearts to empathy, understanding, and connection with others. Classes are held in the peaceful, spacious, quiet, and comfortable meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada.
Each class in this series is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any point.
