In this half-day meditation course, we will explore simple yet powerful practices to quiet the mind, reduce distracting thoughts, and experience the natural peace and clarity within. These meditations help us step back from the endless stream of thoughts so we no longer feel trapped by them, opening the door to a greater sense of inner freedom, spaciousness, and calm.

The practices taught—including mindfulness of breathing, positive visualization, and meditations on the clarity of the mind—will guide us in letting go of mental busyness and connecting with a more peaceful, positive state of being.

Each meditation will be clearly explained and gently guided by the teacher, making this course suitable for everyone, whether you are completely new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice.

This course takes place in the serene, spacious, and comfortable meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada. Between sessions, enjoy complimentary refreshments and the opportunity to ask questions.

No previous meditation experience is needed. Everyone is welcome!
