How to Deal with
Difficult Relationships
Let’s face it — some relationships can be challenging. People can push our buttons, trigger strong emotions, or test our boundaries. Even when we avoid difficult situations, tension can linger.
In this half-day course, you will learn how to use Buddhist meditation and practical wisdom to calm the mind, create space, and respond to difficult peoplewith a steadier mind. We will explore ways to work with anger and difficult emotions without suppressing them, and how to maintain peace of mind around challenging relationships.
The course is held in the peaceful, spacious, quiet and comfortable meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada. We also have many books and materials available at our Temple shop to help people deepen their learning and experience through further reading.
No previous experience of meditation is required.

Pre-registration is encouraged to allow a smoother registration process and decrease your wait time at the door. Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the event.
To book in advance, click on the booking button and fill out the booking form. At the end of the booking process, you will receive an email confirming your booking.

By public transport: Crawford Street is an equal distance from either the Christie or the Ossington subway station. The Centre is half a block south of Bloor.
By car: We are located close to the intersection Bloor & Christie, on Crawford Street, which is a one way street from Harbord to Bloor.

Parking spaces are limited in the residential area. For this reason, it is easier to come by public transport if this is an option for you.
It is possible to find parking in the nearby streets. Temporary day parking spots nearby: for example with Green P Parking.A maximum three-hour parking limit applies to all city streets.
Overnight parking: it is necessary to have a permit from the City.
