Take a peaceful pause from everyday life and return feeling calmer, clearer and more refreshed.
This meditation retreat is open to everyone, regardless of prior experience — you don't need any background in meditation or Buddhism to join.
You'll be guided throughout, so there's nothing to figure out on your own and no pressure to "get it right."
Seating is on a chair or cushion.
The Meditation Retreat
This guided silent meditation retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to engage deeply with the ancient practice of mantra recitation — a practice designed to calm the mind, dissolve mental distractions, and bring about profound inner transformation.
Throughout the retreat, we'll be guided in silent meditations on the breath using the timeless mantra OM AH HUM, known as the “mantra of all Buddhas.” For thousands of years, this mantra has been recited to cultivate greater clarity, inner peace, compassion, and kindness — helping us bring these qualities into our our own lives.
The Teacher
Samantha Ross is known for her joyful and positive energy when sharing the transformative power of meditation and Buddhist wisdom. As an experienced teacher at KMC Canada, she brings warmth, lightness, and kindness to every class, creating a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We offer meditation and Buddhist teachings to help people develop greater inner peace and learn practical ways to work with the challenges of daily life.
Our courses are open to everyone. You don’t need to be a Buddhist or have any previous meditation experience—whether you’re completely new to meditation or looking to deepen your practice, you are welcome.
All of our activities are supported by volunteers, and profits from our activities support the International Temples Project, which develops meditation and retreat centres and other projects intended to benefit the wider community.
